Every price

Tokens are the single currency for anything that generates an image or a video. Readings never cost tokens, on any plan — the only things you spend on are artwork and animation.

Every number on this page is read straight from the same pricing module the app and the website charge against, so it cannot drift from what you are actually billed.

Readings on the website

Drawing is free and always will be: choosing a spread, dealing the cards and turning them over all happen in your browser, cost nothing, and work with the network off. Every reading also comes with a written interpretation composed on your own device, so there is something to read whatever you do next.

Having that reading written properly — the cards weighed against each other, in the voice you chose — is the paid step, and so is each further question you ask about it.

Your first reading is on us

A new account is given one free reading, spent automatically before any tokens are. If the interpreter cannot be reached, you are not charged at all — the reading falls back to the offline one and the token (or the free reading) goes back.

The iPhone app is different

In the app, readings are included in your subscription and are never charged for. The website sells no subscription — there are no plans, every one of the spreads is open to everyone, and readings are paid for one at a time instead.

Generating a deck

A deck run is a single fixed charge taken when generation starts — not a charge per card. It covers the first successful delivery of every card in the run. If the generator fails on a card, that card is left empty and you regenerate it for free until an image lands.

QualityFull deck (78 cards)Major Arcana only (22)Adding the 56 Minors later
Graphic650 tokens195 tokens455 tokens
Collector1,100 tokens330 tokens770 tokens
Masterpiece1,500 tokens500 tokens1,000 tokens
Splitting a deck costs exactly the same as doing it in one go: the Major-only run plus the Minors completion always add up to the full-deck price. Starting with the 22 Majors is a way to see the style before committing, not a more expensive route.

Individual cards

Once a card has been delivered, anything you do to it is charged individually. You pick the quality per attempt — it does not have to match the quality the deck was generated at.

QualityRegenerate or edit one cardRegenerate the card back
Graphic10 tokens34 tokens
Collector20 tokens44 tokens
Masterpiece30 tokens54 tokens

The card back costs a flat 24 tokens on top of the chosen quality, because the material set behind it is re-derived at the same time.

Card animations

An animation turns a single card into a 8-second silent loop that plays wherever that card appears. One fixed length, three quality levels, and a cheaper 720p render on the two lower levels.

Quality1080p720p
Standard80 tokens64 tokens
Master160 tokens128 tokens
Masterpiece320 tokensNot offered — renders at 1080p

Reading videos

A reading video is a narrated 9:16 film built from the cards you drew. It is priced per second, so the cost is simply the rate times the length you choose.

QualityPer second (1080p)8s16s32s64s
Standard10 tokens80 tokens160 tokens320 tokens640 tokens
Master20 tokens160 tokens320 tokens640 tokens1,280 tokens
Masterpiece40 tokens320 tokens640 tokens1,280 tokens2,560 tokens

The 32 and 64 second lengths are offered only on readings with more than one card, since longer films work by cycling through groups of cards. Choosing 720p on Standard or Master takes the rate down to 8 and 16 tokens per second respectively; Masterpiece renders at 1080p either way and is priced the same.

Buying tokens

Tokens are bought in one place and spent in both. Whichever way you buy them, they land in the same balance, and a deck generated on the website appears in the app.

One pack of 100 tokens at $0.99, bought in a quantity of 1 to 50. The price is the same on both platforms — only who bills you differs.

In the iPhone app

The stepper on More → Buy tokens. The price shown is your App Store storefront's own, so it is correct in your currency.

On the website

The same stepper, paid through Stripe from your account page, charged in US dollars.

Hourly limits

There are per-hour caps on the generation endpoints. They exist to stop a runaway script, not to restrain normal use — you will not meet them by working through a deck by hand.

  • • Card regenerations and edits: 60 per hour
  • • Deck runs started: 10 per hour
  • • Card animations: 30 per hour
  • • Reading videos: 8 per hour

When you are actually charged

Deck runs are charged once, up front, when generation starts. Everything else — regenerations, edits, card backs, animations, reading videos — is charged on success only. If a generation fails, is refused by the safety filter, or never returns an image, you are not charged for it, and the app says so explicitly rather than leaving you to check your balance.

Subscriptions are separate from tokens

Your plan — Free, Seeker, Oracle or Professional — is a monthly subscription bought through the App Store, and it governs readings in the app: how many you get, how deep they are, and which spreads you can use. Tokens are a separate one-off purchase. A plan does not include tokens, and buying tokens does not change your plan.

The website has no plans at all, so nothing there is gated behind one — all the spreads are open, and readings are paid for individually instead. See readings on the website.
