Plans & tokens

Two separate things are sold, and confusing them is the single most common misunderstanding about Tarot Sanctum. A plan is a monthly subscription that governs readings. Tokens are a one-off purchase spent only on generating images and video.

A plan does not include tokens, and buying tokens does not change your plan. You can be on the free plan with thousands of tokens, or on the top plan with none.

The four plans

Every plan is bought through the App Store, so the price you see is in your own currency and billed by Apple.

Nothing in any plan costs tokens. Readings, follow-ups, spreads, the Journal and every setting are included — tokens only ever buy generated artwork and video.

Buying tokens

One product, sold in packs of 100, bought in whatever quantity you choose. There are no bundles or tiers to compare — the price per token is the same however many you buy.

  • BalanceRead-only

Your current token balance, at the top of the sheet.

  • QuantityStepper

How many 100-token packs to buy at once. The line beneath updates to show the total tokens and the total price.

    Limits1 to 50 packs
  • BuyButtonSign-in required

Charges through the App Store in your own currency. The button shows the exact total before you press it.

  • Restore purchasesButton

Re-checks your Apple account for anything already bought and re-applies it. The fix for a purchase that has not appeared.

The website sells tokens differently — three fixed packages paid by card through Stripe. Both go to the same balance. See every price for what that balance buys.

Subscribing and changing plan

The subscription plans sheet.
  • Plan rowButtonSign-in required

One row per plan with its name, its monthly price from the App Store, and Subscribe. Your current plan says “Current” instead and cannot be pressed.

  • Manage subscriptionsLink

Opens Apple's subscription settings, where you change plan or cancel. Cancelling is done at Apple, never here.

  • Terms of Use / Privacy PolicyLink

Opens the documents on this website.

  1. Sign in first — every buy button is disabled while signed out, since a purchase has to attach to an account.
  2. Choose a plan. Apple takes the payment and the app applies the plan within a few seconds.
  3. To change or cancel later, use Manage subscriptions, which opens Apple's own settings.

When a purchase does not appear

Purchases occasionally take a moment to propagate, particularly straight after a fresh install or a change of Apple ID.

  1. Check you are signed in to the same account you bought on.
  2. Press Restore purchases.
  3. If nothing changes, close the app fully and reopen it — it re-syncs on launch.
If the purchase screen says the store is unavailable, the message underneath explains why in specific terms rather than generically. Read it — it usually names the actual cause, and there is a Retry button beneath it.

Deleting your account

More → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This is permanent and immediate.

  • • Your account, token balance and deck ownership are deleted.
  • • Your journal entries stay on your phone — they were never on our servers.
  • • Your subscription is not cancelled by this. Apple bills it, so cancel it in Apple's subscription settings, or you will keep paying for an account that no longer exists.
